Magic Trends and Coverage!

It was so great to see the large crowds at Magic/Project/Pool/ENK this season. Just more confirmation that the economy is getting back on its feet.  I don't know how or why anyone in the business would miss this show?  It's a fashion feast for the brain.  It fuels so many fresh ideas, not to mention it showcases new up and coming brands and lines.  As most of you know, I attend many global events, covering the street scene and regardless of my travels, my favorite and most inspiring event by far is the Magic/Project LV shows.  Everything at these shows inspires me and I come away with trends that are clearly the frontrunners for both the mens and women's markets.  This is still such a great platform for what's trending and how these looks are moving forward.

Here are some of the trends that you need to be watching....

Camouflage

Camouflage:  Plenty of "camo" in both markets.  Look for new color ways and textures       

Urban Goth: Layers of leather with "Moto" detailing!         

The leather short with zipper details and bleeding layers of black!                

                                           

Heaven Sent:  Religious photo-real graphics                                             

"Hermes" influenced printed scarves.                        

                        

Street Grunge:  Layered up!                                                   

Snakeskin accessories and details:  Studs and spikes on footwear still going strong!        

English Gents:  Refined streetwear style with English accents
